This release focuses on three things we kept hearing from teams using Fohlio every day: keeping vendor data clean, getting products into the system faster, and reducing friction as projects scale:
- Contact Book improvements – more flexible tagging, supplier analytics, and a cleaner way to manage preferred and inactive partners
- Faster product data upload – XLSX product uploads with images
- System Status – clearer visibility into platform activity and report status
- A new table experience – more readable, consistent, and modern tables across the platform
Read more about them here:
1. Contact Book Update — Smarter, Clearer, and More Flexible

- Unified Supplier & Manufacturer Categories
Suppliers and manufacturers are now part of a single, unified company category. This change removes duplication, simplifies management, and better reflects how companies operate in the real world—many businesses act as both suppliers and manufacturers. You can still clearly identify and filter companies by their roles, all within one streamlined structure.
- More Flexible Company Tagging
You can now tag companies more accurately—suppliers can also be marked as manufacturers (and vice versa). This improved structure keeps your contact data consistent and gives you more flexibility when organizing your network.
- Spending Insights for Suppliers
New analytics give you better visibility into how much you’re spending with each supplier, helping you make more informed decisions and quickly understand your key partnerships.
- Contact & Supplier Status
You can now set contacts and suppliers as Preferred or Archived. Highlight the partners you work with most, and easily archive contacts you no longer use without losing historical data.
- Improved Contact Creation Flow
We’ve streamlined the contact creation process to make it clearer and more reliable. If a contact email is missing, the company email is used automatically, ensuring smooth creation and consistent records.
- Refreshed UI & Improved Contact Selector
Enjoy a cleaner, more intuitive interface with an improved contact selector that keeps everything clear, organized, and easy to use as your contact list grows.
2. Product List Upload with Images (XLSX)
You’ll soon be able to upload product lists via XLSX—including images—making product setup faster, richer, and more accurate.
3. System Status

We’re introducing System Status (name to be confirmed), giving you clearer insight into platform activity.
- Report Logs will move into System Status, under the Downloads tab
- A more centralized place to track system-related updates
4. A New Table Experience

By the end of 2025, tables across the platform will begin transitioning to a new, standardized design:
- Consistent columns & rows for improved readability
- More user-friendly layouts that are easier to scan and use
- A modern, professional look aligned with current UX standards
- Clearer visuals that make complex features feel more approachable
All of these new features are designed to make everyday work in Fohlio faster, clearer, and less manual.
Enjoy!
